DIVERTICULITIS


Diverticulitis is the inflammation of diverticula, or pouches formed in the colon. It can be caused by lack of dietary fiber and lack of exercise.
It can cause lower abdominal pain mostly on the left side, tenderness, abdominal distension, fever, loss of appetite, constipation, nausea, diarrhea, and difficult urination.
