SCHIZOPHRENIA

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental disease, more common in men. It starts at a young age between 18 and 30 years. The exact cause is not known. Family history and environmental factors like cannabis use, complications during pregnancy, nerve infections at a young age, etc., can be triggering factors.
The schizophrenic patient may develop indifference to family, work, school or society, disturbed and unusual sleep patterns, bad hygiene habits, great irritability and anger. They may hear, see, smell or feel unusual things. They may have suicidal tendencies, too.
Schizophrenia can be treated with antipsychotic drugs and psychological and social support. It does not have a cure. With proper treatment and management, one can live a normal life.

If you see any of these signs, then immediately connect with a medical expert . * Strokes are treatable if detected in time. If you treat it as an emergency and head to the stroke unit, the damage from the stroke can be minimised. * The usual form of treatment includes clot-busting drugs that...
